Lights Wrestling Dominates North Idaho

The MSU Northern Lights got 4 falls and a technical fall on Friday night in the Armory gym and defeated North Idaho College 40 to 7. Noah McDermott (133 lbs.), NaKoda Siegel (174 lbs.), Carl Hanson (197 lbs.), and Austin Vanek, the Freshman from Cut Bank all picked up wins by fall. Devin Crawford (165 lbs.) won by technical fall. Other winners for the Lights were Tanner Cook (125 lbs.) Martin Wilkie (149 lbs.) and Ryan Moldenhauer (285 lbs.)  Connor Harris (157 lbs.) lost his match 6-5 and Colin Silverthorne was defeated 12 to 4. The Lights will now hit the road for the rest of the year. They are at the NWC Trapper open on November 5th, at Providence on November 9th. The Lights wrestling team will not be back at the Armory gym until Feb 3rd, 2023.
