(Hill County) The body of 78-year-old Lynn Taskila was found north of Rudyard Montana on January 23rd, according to Hill County Sheriff Jamie Ross.
Taskila had been missing since December 24th of last year, and police say that this body was found after a local farmer called reporting a male who appeared to be deceased in one of his farm trucks.
Investigations indicated that the night he went missing, Taskila became stranded on a two-track road far from the nearest main road, and after abandoning his vehicle and trekking three miles, he took shelter in the nonrunning farm truck where he was later discovered.
The Hill County Sheriffs Office encourages travelers to have emergency travel kits, cell phones, and cell phone chargers in their vehicles when traveling.
