The Maclean-Cameron adoption center in Great Falls recently helped out PAWS of Chinook by receiving five of the over 20 dogs that were rescued after their owner passed away.
One volunteer named Nicole said the dogs that were in their care still require a great deal of training and socialization for them to be re-homed.
“A couple of them are still pretty scared. They’ve had no socialization at all, or any leash training or real experience with people around them. Been trying to socialize them.
Nicole says once they can make more room at their Great Falls location they are hoping to take more dogs from PAWS in Chinook.
“So our near goal is to get some of our dogs in general out within this next weekend that way we can open up some kennel space and foster a lot more.”
