MALTA, Mont. (NMB) – The Malta Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a series of Farmers and Artisans Markets this summer, starting Tuesday, June 25th. Executive Director Ann Sautter says the last market will be held on Tuesday, September 3rd.
“Each market is held on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM and it is at the entrance to Trafton Park, just located right off the Highway 2 that travels through Malta along the Hi-Line. And there’s a rest area right there behind the gas station.”
Sautter says that this is the second year they’ve held the Farmers and Artisans Market and she says many vendors are returning.
“We had lots of vendors from around the area, as well as a few east of us. We had some fresh produce. We had photography. We had some arts and crafts. We had a gentleman from the Saco area who makes custom knives. We had some food vendors from around the area.”
Sautter says that it costs $20 for non-Malta Chamber members each market, but they do offer a deal for those who plan to come to all six. For more information, call the Chamber Office at 654-1776.
