(Malta) – Malta Public Schools Teacher Emma Oyler is setting up an Exploration Station in her second grade class room this year. She told New Media Broadcasters the goal of this activity in her classroom.
“To allow my students to explore different avenues of thinking, critical thinking and to foster collaborative strategies, different learning styles. So, I’m really hoping that with this exploration station that I can foster a love of learning in my students.”
Miss Olyer was awarded a student success grant from the National Education Association for this exploration station.
Olyer is utilizing the funds to introduce her 2nd grade student to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, or STEM learning
