MDA Unveils Hemp Marketplace

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Agriculture has unveiled an online Hemp Marketplace for buyers and sellers of hemp and hemp derivatives.

This concept originated from the same idea as the MDA’s Hay Hotline. Because hemp is a regulated crop, only growers licensed through the Montana State Hemp Program are permitted to list hemp for sale. All listings must comply with the 0.3 percent threshold for THC.

Users can enter new listings or view existing listings free of charge by visiting MDA’s main website, then selecting “Hemp Marketplace” from the “Topics” dropdown.

To enter listings offline, call 444-2402, email, or fax 444-9493.
