POWER, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Transportation is inviting the public to comment on a proposal to resurface about eight mile of I-15 north and south of Power.
The project starts at the Cascade/Teton County line and extends north towards the Dutton interchange.
Work that is proposed includes milling the existing surface, applying an asphalt overlay, and finishing with a chip seal, and upgraded pavement markings.
The Power interchange ramps and crossroad will receive a crack seal and seal cover.
This project is meant to address pavement deterioration and extend the life of the road.
Tentatively, the project is scheduled for construction in 2023, depending on completion of development and availability of funding. No new Right-of-Way or utility relocations will be needed.
