(Havre) – On Monday, Havre American Legion Post #11 will be hosting the community Memorial Day Ceremony, 11am at the Hill County Courthouse. 2nd Vice President of Post #11 Les Johnson tells us more about the ceremony.
“We’ll start our ceremony with an invocation. Scouts of America will raise the American Flag followed by the National Anthem. Reading of the previous deceased veterans with Honor Guard gun salute with taps, placing of the wreath and then a final prayer.”
After the conclusion of the ceremony at the Hill County Courthouse, the Memorial Day ceremony will continue at the Havre Elks Lodge.
