(Havre) – American Legion Post #11 hosts the annual Memorial Day ceremony in Havre starting at 11am in front of the Hill County Courthouse. After things finish at the courthouse, the ceremony continues at the Havre Elks Lodge. 2nd Vice President for the American Legion Post #11 Les Johnson, explains what presentation will be made at the Elks Lodge.
“Starting with presenting the colors by the honor guard, pledge of allegiance, a prayer and then the POW/MIA sleeve will be placed on the empty chair. We’ll have a POW/MIA table ceremony by the auxiliary.”
There will be a free will donation lunch at the Havre Elks Lodge after the program concludes.
