MGGA awards scholarships to several local students.

(MGGA) – The Montana Grain Growers Association (MGGA) and Montana Grains Foundation (MGF) have announced their 2024-25 Scholarship awards. Five area recipients have received $1000 from the MGGA, including:

Havre senior Reinhard Bold will be attending MSU Northern for Agricultural Operations Technology, with plans to continue on the family farm in the future.

Rhett Worley of Rudyard is a crop science major in Bozeman at MSU and pursuing a minor in precision ag.

Ty Backen is a CJI senior, planning to study software engineering at Montana Tech in Butte.

Emma Lou Slivka, a senior out of Winifred, plans to go to MSU for a degree of Agricultural Communications.

Senior Kyona Yeager of Fairfield is looking to attend Northern Oklahoma College for a double major in Agriculture Education and Elementary education and will judge livestock at a high level while attending college.
