(Havre) The Havre Police Department is asking the public to plan for a sober ride home on Labor Day Weekend as part of the Vision Zero DUI Initiative.
The Vision Zero Initiative has the goal of completely eliminating traffic fatalities and serious injuries on Montana’s roads and highways.
Labor Day weekend is the final three days of the “100 Deadliest Days,” the period where most traffic fatalities occur. MHP says they will be increasing patrols across the state with an emphasis on stopping impaired drivers to help ensure Montanans get home safely this holiday weekend.
