(Helena) – Monday begins the 100 deadliest days of Summer between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Montana High Patrol Colonel Kurt Saeger (sigh-ger) explains how the Montana Highway Patrol combats the 100 deadliest days.
“Steps that we try to increase enforcement as much as we can across the summer months, whether that’s opening up overtime opportunities to go have a presence out there to make sure people are following the laws and driving safely on the road to really curb impaired driving, seatbelt enforcement efforts and speed enforcement efforts during the summer months so that people can arrive at their destination safely.”
