The Havre Northstars finished out the Miles City Tournament on Sunday, a four day event that opened Thursday June 23rd and ended Sunday June 26th.
Havre opened up the tournament with a shutout over the Riverton Raiders A with a score of 11-0.
Friday’s game was a close win for the Northstars ending 7-6 win over the Sheridan Jets A, a gap the Jets narrowed in the fourth and sixth innings.
On Saturday The Northstars swept the day against their afternoon match against the Dickinson Baseball Volunteers 13-3, and later that evening when they squared off with the American Legion Post 30 Bandits, 7-4.
Sunday the Miles City Mavericks blocked the Northstars from a perfect weekend but even the 8-3 loss for Havre still makes it 4-1 overall for the tournament in Miles City.
