HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Milk River Gobblers are set to hold their 3rd Annual Banquet on Saturday, February 5th.
The event will take place at the Havre Eagles Club starting at 5 PM and will feature dinner, silent and live auctions, and games.
Jeff Dibblee says funds raised will go back into the community.
“We turn around and we buy turkeys for some of the community events like the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. In August, we hold a youth day, where all the kids are invited to come out to the trap club. We shoot clay pigeons, sometimes we shoot helium balloon if the wind is not blowing too bad. We have a lot of good fun out there. Throughout the year we hold gun raffles, depending on the funding and availability of the guns.”
Funds also go towards several student scholarships.
Items up for auction at the banquet include at least 13 guns, a gun safe, a grill, a deep freeze, knives, and gift certificates.
