HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Saturday, February 2nd, the Milk River Gobblers will be holding their first annual banquet at the Havre Eagles Club. Member Jeff Dibblee says that their group broke away from the National Wild Turkey Federation this year and will keep any money they raise within their local group, which reaches from Chester to Malta, and south to the Missouri River Breaks.
“It will start at 5 PM with cocktails. 6:30 PM will be the dinner and that dinner will consist of prime rib and shrimp. We’re going to have a silent auction, a live auction, a variety of games, lots of great prizes. Of course, many chances to win guns.”
Dibblee says they also have a raffle ticket package that gets you entered to win some firearms.
“We do have what they call a Trophy Tom Ticket Package and this package includes $300 in raffle tickets and three chances at three guns, which are a Winchester, a Taurus, and a Remington shotgun. Now this package does not include the dinner.”
Dibblee says that tickets cost $40 per person, or $75 per couple and they have a limited number of seats available. Their speaker will be Havre’s Fish, Wildlife, and Parks biologist.
