(Phillips County) The Phillips County Sheriff’s Department says that they received a call from the US Border Patrol about a runaway juvenile from Minnesota located in Phillips County and was operating her own vehicle. The vehicle was stopped by Border Patrol and the juvenile’s parents were contacted.
The juvenile was then taken back to the Phillip’s County Sheriff’s Office, where she was later able to escape custody and drive off in her vehicle, going missing for nearly two hours.
PCSO then received a phone call that she was located and taken into custody in Fergus County, where Phillips County Sheriff Jerry Lytle (lit-tell) drove to await the arrival of the girl’s parents, who arrived early Wednesday morning.
