HELENA, Mont. — The Montana Department of Environmental Quality is accepting public comment through July 28th on a draft Programmatic Environmental Assessment for its Asbestos Control Program.
The assessment evaluates potential environmental impacts from asbestos-related activities statewide, including removal, repair, and disposal.
DEQ says the new approach streamlines the permitting process while maintaining public involvement.
