(Chester)The story of Montana Highway Patrol trooper Lewis Johnson of Chester was entered into the Congressional Record this month by Congressman Rosendale.
Johnson was injured in the line of duty when he run over in Eureka in 2023 by a fleeing suspect, spending months in recovery and rehab before returning to his home in the Chester community in October of 2023.
Jason Allen Miller, the man accused of running over Johnson, pleaded not guilty in March of 2023 to all charges, including attempted deliberate homicide, criminal endangerment, possession of dangerous drugs, and aggravated kidnapping.
