Lots of storylines were taken away from night one at the 2024 Montana-Wyoming All-Star Classic. The Treasure State girls’ extended a winning streak, while the boys’ had theirs snapped. How would night two shake out with the venue moving to Lockwood’s gym in Billings?
The girls’ won the state’s 15th game in a row, (76-35), while the boys got swept by Wyoming, losing (94-85).
The girls’ game was not close as they ran away with it before the end of the half, leading (38-19). The defense was outstanding, holding the Wyoming girls’ to a series history-low 35 points. Chinook’s Hallie Neibauer followed up her double-digit points performance with six points in this one.
In the boys’ game, Wyoming swept the All-Star Basketball Series for the first time since 2011, winning (94-85). MSU-Northern commit Maurice Redhorn III was held to four points after a double-digit performance on Friday night in Gillette.
