RALEIGH, N.C. (NMB) – A 33-year-old Montana man has been indefinitely committed to federal prison based on accusations that he sexually molested over a dozen young girls on the Crow Indian Reservation more than a decade ago.
Oliver Lee White has also been designated as a sexually dangerous person. The prosecution alleged that from 2007 to 2013, White repeatedly molested girls between the ages of 2 and 13, at the home of his adoptive mother.
White was initially found to be unfit for trial due to cognitive impairments.
The defense has stated their intent to appeal the ruling.
The adoptive mother, Peggy White, had charges against her withdrawn when it was previously determined Oliver Lee White was not fit to stand trial.
