HELENA, Mont. — The Montana Department of Revenue is mailing property classification and appraisal notices to property owners statewide.
These are not tax bills, but they show updated market values and taxable values that will be used to calculate property taxes for 2025 and 2026.
The notices reflect rate changes passed by the 2025 Legislature.
Officials urge owners to review them promptly and contact the department with any concerns.
Those who disagree with the assessed value can request a review within 30 days.
