Montana reports Over 1,000 New COVID Cases Wednesday

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services reported 1,099 new COVID-19 cases in their Wednesday morning update, the most in a single day since mid October.

A day after Gallatin County reported a staggering 314 new cases of the virus, they reported another 252 cases on Wednesday. Yellowstone reported 197 new cases, Flathead reported 172, Missoula reported 138, and Lewis and Clark reported 97.

Montana’s COVID-19 death toll is up to 2,912, with 141 Montanans currently hospitalized with COVID-19.

Over 1.3 million doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the state, with over 540,000 Montanans considered fully immunized.
