Montana Reports Over 2,000 New COVID Cases Over Past Week

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The state of Montana reported 2,078 new COVID-19 cases in the past week.

That’s according to the Department of Public Health and Human Services, and is for the reporting period from Thursday, June 9th through Wednesday, June 15th.

Six Counties reported over 100 new cases of the virus, led by Gallatin County with 295, Missoula County with 243, and Lewis and Clark with 226.

3,440 Montanans have suffered COVID-related deaths since the pandemic began.

56 percent of eligible Montanans are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
