HELENA, Mont. — The Montana Department of Commerce will reopen its Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Moderate Rehabilitation Program waiting lists on July 1st at 8 a.m.
These federal rental assistance programs help low-income households, seniors, and people with disabilities afford housing by capping rent at 30% of adjusted monthly income.
Applicants can choose one of ten regional waiting lists and should apply at commerce.mt.gov.
Those already on the HCV list do not need to reapply if they’ve confirmed continued interest.
