(US Senate) US Senators Steve Daines and Tim Sheehy, along with Representative Troy Downing, were two of several signers of a letter that was sent to US Fish and Wildlife on Tuesday calling for the reversal of a policy which they say unnecessarily slows the delisting process of grizzly bears.
The legislators argue that the rules currently keeping the grizzly bear as an endangered animal are due to what they’re calling Biden-Era policies, and that these current rules unfairly punish the recovery efforts for the bear in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho.
