(Helena – Keller Sherman) Montana WILD staff is hosting numerous free events in October. Most require registration and you can do so on the web version of this story on hiline today dot com.
On October 8th from 4pm to 4:30pm, a storytime about beavers will take place, and on October 22nd from 4pm to 5:30pm, an event on monarch butterflies.
Bat talk during bat week is set for October 29th from 6:30pm-7:30pm. This event will feature talk on bats and their importance to ecosystems and the economy.
Owl-oween on October 31st from 3pm to 6pm, will feature raptor programs with a reptile and amphibian table with live animals, owl pellets, a bat cave, crafts, and a photo booth.
Costumes are encouraged. No registration is required for this event.
