HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Thursday, a Montana woman was sentenced to over 10 years with the Bureau of Prisons for her role in distributing methamphetamines in Hill County. Donny Lynn Ferguson was given 68 months for possession with intent to distribute meth and 60 months for possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime to be served consecutively. Upon her release, she will be on supervised release for five years.
Court documents say that between November 2016 and June 15th, 2018, Ferguson possessed and intended to distribute at least 50 grams of methamphetamine in Havre and Hill County, Great Falls, Missoula, and Polson. She is also charged with carrying a firearm in these areas while trafficking drugs.
She was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Brian Morris in Great Falls.
