THOMPSON FALLS, Mont. — A motorcyclist from Hot Springs was killed in a crash on Montana Highway 471 in Sanders County on Tuesday.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the rider was traveling northbound when they failed to negotiate a curve, lost control, and were thrown into a guardrail.
The motorcycle and rider came to rest in the northbound lanes.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
