(LeGrande Oregon) – The Montana State University – Northern Lights traveled to LeGrande Oregon on Saturday for a Frontier Conference Machup against Eastern Oregon University.
The Mountaineers were victorious 37-0. After leading 7-0 after one quarter of play the Mountaineers scored twenty points in the second quarter for a 27-0 halftime lead, and then added a field goal in the 3rd quarter and a touchdown in the 4th quarter on their way to the Victory.
Offensively the Mountaineers had 329 yards of total offense while the Lights had 28 yards of total offense in the game. Defensively, Dylan Wampler was a standout with 14 tackles in the game.
Next week, the Lights make their final road trip as of the season, as they travel to Dillon to face the Bulldogs from the University of Montana – Western with kickoff set for 1pm.
