MSU and Cybersecurity

(Bozeman)- Montana State University is receiving $4.47 million in a three year DHS contract award to improve cybersecurity.

The project will create computer models that can analyze software throughout the development process and identify code that could be hacked once the software is used.

Project leader and professor Clem Izurieta said, “as we see an increase in the frequency of cyber-attacks and the types of systems being breached, there’s a real need for detecting the potential attacks before they occur.”
