HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Montana State University Extension will be hosting a free, annual cropping seminar series January 6th through 10th in Fort Benton, Stanford, Havre, Chester, Shelby, Cut Bank, Conrad, Choteau, and Great Falls. Speakers will cover crop diseases and management, oilseed crops, cropping decision tools, and international markets and world supply and demand.
There is no charge for the seminars and all producers are encouraged to attend. All the seminars begin at 8:30 AM, except for the Great Falls seminar, which will start at 9:30. They will finish by 3:30 PM.
Both commercial and private pesticide licensing re-certification credits will be available.
On Monday, January 6th, they will be at the Ag Center in Fort Benton and at City Hall in Stanford. On January 7th, they will be at the 4-H Chuckwagon in Havre and at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Chester. On the 8th, they will meet at the Glacier County Library basement in Cut Bank and at the Comfort Inn Conference Room in Shelby. On the 9th, they will be at the Stage Stop Inn in Choteau and at the Pondera Shooting Sports Complex in Conrad. And on January 10th, they will be at the Great Falls College MSU’s Heritage Hall.
