(MSU Northern) The Montana State University Northern Foundation is holding their Alumni Auction on October 4th, one of two major fundraising events they do each year.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with Melanie Skoyen, Director of Development and the MSU Northern Foundation, who says these events contribute to students’ academic futures.
“Student Scholarships, here at MSU Northern. We just actually had our scholarship ceremony, and we gave over 400 scholarships. But these alumni scholarships, we give 12 a year.”
The event will start at 5pm with dinner and drinks provided, and the auctioning is set to begin at 6pm.
Skoyen says people can get their tickets either by calling the MSU Northern Foundation or visiting them in Cowen Hall on the third floor, with tickets being $25 per person or an entire front row table for $500.
