The Montana State University-Northern rodeo teams are currently competing at the Bigger Better Barn. Here are some results from the last couple of days:
Rodeo No. 1 (Friday night, September 22nd)
Mikenna Schauer finished first in breakaway roping with a time of 3.9 seconds. She was also in second place in the goat tying competition at 15.1 seconds. Schauer and Gavin McLean came in second in the team roping, finishing at 12.8 seconds. Garrett Cunningham placed first in the Saddle Bronc with a score of 158.
The Skylights finished first overall with a team score of 420, while Montana Western placed second at 380. The Lights were in second at 930, while the Bulldogs finished first in the men’s competition with a score of 1150.
