The MSU-Northern Rodeo Team is heading to Bozeman over the weekend for the rodeo competition being hosted by Montana State. The Spring Rodeo is set to take place April 13th-16th. Beginning at 7PM, attendees are encouraged to show up in blue and gold attire to support the event’s “College Night”. Friday and Saturday slack rounds will start at 10AM and performance rounds set to begin at 7PM.
With past experience in the event, Head Coach Doug Kallenberger has been pleased with his team’s preparation heading into the weekend:
“We’ve been working on kids having some high-pressure situations in practice. We’ve been changing some things up. We’ve had some really good practices the last week.” – Kallenberger
With this being the first action of the spring season, Coach Kallenberger wants to see consistency and effort this weekend above all else:
“Don’t quit on your run, don’t quit on your ride, and don’t give up. Finish your runs and try to be consistent, and I think we’ll be right where we need to be.” – Kallenberger
