The MSU Northern Lights and Skylights took to their home court Thursday evening against the Rocky Mountain College Battlin’ Bears in some exciting double-header basketball action.
In the women’s game, the Battlin’ Bears gained a huge lead early on in the first quarter ending 23-7. For the rest of the game, the Skylights could not catch up. By the end of the fourth quarter, Rocky Mountain College claimed the victory 72-55.
The men’s game proved to be a fierce duel between the Lights and Battlin’ Bears, as by the end of the first half MSU Northern was ahead by a 4-point lead with a score 39-35. In the second half, the Lights were able to gain a wider point differential over Rocky Mountain. The Lights would win this game over the Battlin’ Bears 79-60.
