MT Senators Announce More than $8M to upgrade MT Airports

U.S. SENATE (NMB) – Earlier this week U.S. Senators Steve Daines and Jon Tester announced that over $8 million will be directed towards strengthening Montana’s air travel infrastructure across the state.

A press release says that the funding is part of the Airport Improvement Program under the Department of Transportation.

Some of the local recipients of the funding include $243,000 to the Conrad Airport to construct a fuel farm. The Choteau Airport received almost $398,000 to construct a new snow removal equipment building. The Stanford Airport/Biggerstaff Field received $150,000 to reconstruct and rehabilitate runways, taxiways, and aprons.
