(Havre) – Since 2012 area law enforcement hosted National Night Out in Havre. While the event is usually held the first Tuesday in August, Captain Ryan Pearson of the Havre Police Department told New Media Broadcasters why they moved it to Tuesday August 26th
“Here in Havre, we moved it to the last Tuesday of August, that way we could run it in conjunction with MSU Northern and get the program out in the community for the end of August.”
Captain Pearson also told us about the topics that area law enforcement and organizations will be representing on Tuesday.
“Crime prevention, crime awareness, drug prevention, drug awareness.”
National Night Out is Tuesday August 26th from 6pm until 8pm on the SUB Lawn at MSU-Northern.
