(Havre) – National Night Out took place Tuesday Night on the Montana State University-Northern Campus. Captain Ryan Pearson of the Havre Police Department summarizes how the night went.
“I thought it was a very good night. I believe we had about five, six hundred people that showed up. There was a lot of support from the community for our event. I’m happy that everybody had a good time. I’ve heard nothing but positives about it. I’m thankful for all the agencies that came up, we had some new ones this year and it was overall a great turnout and a great night.”
National Night Out is an annual community building campaign aimed at enhancing police-community partnerships. It encourages neighbors to come together and engage with local law enforcement in a positive environment.
