NCMRWS Gets $30 Million in Funding

ROCKY BOY, Mont. (NMB) – The funding appropriation for Fiscal Year 19 has exceeded any previous year for the Rocky Boy’s/North Central Montana Regional Water System.

A press release says that in addition to the almost $4 million from the President’s Budget, over $26 million was specified for the Water Treatment Plant within the Bureau of Reclamation Rural Water Supply Program.

This $30 million is the most funding the water system has ever received. For fiscal year 2018, the water system received over $20 million. The closest the Rocky Boy’s/North Central Montana Regional Water System has been to this level of funding was in 2009, when they received nearly $27 million.
