HELENA – The Montana Highway Patrol (MHP) commissioned five new troopers at a graduation ceremony held at the Civic Center in Helena on Friday, March 3, 2023.
The five new troopers were among 148 applicants for the positions this hiring cycle and went through a rigorous training schedule over the past 23 weeks. They came from Montana, New Jersey, and Minnesota and worked in a variety of careers prior to coming to the Highway Patrol. The troopers will be stationed in Havre, Roundup, Butte, Polson, and Billings.
