HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Northern Montana Health Care (NMHC) will now be allowing limited visitation in their facilities for the first time since last March.
Starting on Monday, February 8th, the new visitor guidelines will be:
- Medical/Surgical Floor – 2 Visitors
- ICU – 1 Visitor – ICU waiting room will remain closed at this time.
- OB – 2 Visitors
- ER – 1 Visitor
- Dialysis – 1 Visitor
- Surgical Day Care – 1 Visitor
- Imaging – 1 Visitor
- Clinics – 1 Visitor
Full screening will take place at entry doors, and entrance to the Hospital will be restricted to the 2nd Floor Emergency Room Doors only. Patients and visitors will beasked a series of questions and be screened for temperature.
All patients and visitors will be asked to change into a surgical mask during their visit and will be allowed to use the hospital cafeteria. Visitation for COVID-19 patients is not allowed at this time except for special circumstances.
At this time the Northern Montana Care Center is still considered to be under Outbreak Status and will not yet be accepting visitors.
Flu-like symptoms would include a fever over 100.4°, chills, cough, sore throat, respiratory illness, headaches, body aches, nausea or vomiting, or difficulty breathing. Patients presenting with these symptoms will still be asked to call in advance for an appointment and they will be directed to the appropriate location. That number is 262-1570.
