(NMB) After day one of the Northeastern B/C Tennis Tournament in Havre, hosted by the Chinook Sugarbeeters.16 singles girls players were narrowed down to 4 semifinalists and 8 players seeking to stay in the tournament. Meanwhile, 8 girls doubles teams were set to see 4 pairs to play semis, and 2 teams looking to advance in elimination play on Wednesday.
Tuesday’s singles moving to semifinal action on Wednesday were Rilee Molyneaux of Chinook to face Hanna Bach of Fort Benton, and Paetyn Templet of Fort Benton looking to take on McKenzie Swensen of Fairfield.
Hoping to stay in the tournament in elimination rounds Wednesday are Macie Jorgenson of Fairfield who will meet teammate Kamber Bender; CJI’s Trinitey Case pairing with teammate Resse Diemert; Mekayla Brown of Chinook to take on Fairfield’s Gretta Wilson, and Harman Mann of CJI to square off against Molly Yost of Chinook.
In the Doubles events, Kamree Pearson and Keira Bender of Fairfield advance to semifinal play, where they will face Kaily Rominger and Seeli Jameson of Fort Benton. Loser of that match will drop to meet Chinooks Lexi Kuntz and Gracie Skoyen. The other semi will feature Zoe Donnee and Alexis Clark of Fort Benton battling Chinook’s Ashlyn Jensen and Fayln Cecrle. The loser will meet up with Taylee Pearson and Kameron Lidstrom of Fairfield.
