The Northern c Tournament continued on Saturday with Consolation and Championship matches winding down. Fort Benton faced off against Belt at 7 PM in the girl’s matchup. With everything on the line the Fort Benton Longhorns played toe-to-toe with the Belt Huskies, ending the half knotted up at 22. But the Huskies grabbed an inch and drove it a mile in the second half a toppled the Longhorns at the buzzer, 47 to 34.
The 8:30 PM game featured the Box Elder Bears and the Roy-Winifred Outlaws in an all-out brawl for the Championship Title of the Northern C. The game The Box Elder Bears gave it their all each quarter, doubling their points for three quarters, as did Roy-Winifred but The Outlaws shot out to a lead in the first quarter and dominated the scoreboard for four quarters and garnering the win at the buzzer, Roy-Winifred 41, Box Elder 28.
