MSU-Northern’s cross country squads raced in Billings last weekend at the Frontier Conference Preview at Amend Park.
James Stensland-Plymale led the Lights with a time of 28:44.5, securing 65th place. Former North Star runner Carter Campbell passed the finish line in 70th place with a time of 29:30.2. Former Havre Blue Pony Zack May was about 40 seconds behind at 30:10.1, which was good for 76th place.
For the Skylights, Makaela Kelly paced the troops with a time of 27:30.2, coming in 61st overall. Deseara Toombs was next as she raced to a 27:51.5 time and 64th place. Loren Lane ran a 35:04.6, which was 89th place.
The final races of the 2024 cross country seasons for Northern will be on Nov. 6 right back at Amend Park for the Frontier Conference Championships.
