HAVRE (NMB)-Northern Montana Health Center in Havre has received a a surgical procedure chair thanks to the generosity of the Northern Montana Hospital Auxiliary.
The Spa Source Klyne/OB/Gyn model exam and power procedure chair will be used for gynecological procedures performed in the Same Day Care Unit at the hospital.
Julianne LaSmith, the Medical Staff Coordinator at NMH, says the chair can be adjusted to provide comfort to patient going through a gynecological procedure.
“It’s meant for the comfort of the patient undergoing the procedure, whatever it might be.”
In a press release from NMH, The Volunteer Auxiliary “purchase the chair off the ‘wish list’ that had been submitted to them this past year.”
LaSmith says the Volunteer Auxiliary really stepped up and the hospital system could use a lot more people to donate their time.
