HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana State University-Northern Rodeo Booster Club will be holding their annual Cowboy Christmas fundraiser on Saturday evening at the Northern Field House. Head Coach of the Northern Rodeo Teams Doug Kallenberger knows there is no down playing the commitment the event receives or how important it is.
“The amount of donation items, the amount of money people spend and donate and give and time and effort that wee see everybody give to us is tremendous. Yeah, we cannot thank people enough and this truly is our lifeline to our rodeo program.”
Every year, the organizers of the Cowboy Christmas fundraiser look for unique and special ways to make the evening fun for everyone.
“We got a couple new games that we’re going to play this year. We got a couple of new giveaways. A little different thing that we’re going to honor someone there. But all those things I kind of want to keep secret until that night. You know, every year, we try to do a little twist and keep things new and fresh.”
The fundraiser starts at 5 PM and they will serve prime rib and shrimp. There will be silent and live auctions, door prizes and more. Tickets can be purchased at the MSU-Northern business office, Norman’s Ranchwear, and Stockman and Independence Banks.
