(NMB) The Havre Northstars are coming off a busy weekend where they went 3 and 2 at the Gallatin Valley Tournament in Three Forks. Havre defeated Lewistown in a non conference game 6 to
4 and also picked up wins over Cody, Wyoming 11 to 3 and shut out Gallatin Valley 12 to zero. The two losses on the weekend came to the Billings Blue Jays 10 to 8 and the Bitteroot Red Sox 8 to
7. After the weekend, the Northstars sit at 16-6 and 1. The schedule doesn’t get any easier this week as the Northstars have a couple days of rest, and then the schedule picks up again. They’ll travel
to Lewistown for a North District doubleheader on Wednesday, those games start at 5pm Wednesday evening. Havre will remain in Lewistown for the Harold Gjerde Tournament Thursday
through Sunday where they will play games against the Great Falls Chargers, Butte Miners, Laurel Dodgers and the Miles City Mavericks.
