(Havre- Ira Bowman) – The Havre Northstars American Legion Baseball team’s jamboree is on deck for this weekend. The NorthStars Jamboree is a weekend full of baseball from Friday June 6 through the 8, with first pitch times varying.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with the North stars Head coach Ryan Divish who express that the jamboree is an excellent event for the community and a great opportunity for the team.
“For us, one of the big things is just seeing some of the better teams in the state come in. We have Gallatin Valley, Butte, Glendive, these are perennially some of the top teams in class A baseball. I think for us, it’s just a chance to play a lot of games over a short amount of time. There’s nothing quite like getting game repetitions. It’s always just a good thing to have people come to Havre and watch and play some baseball.”
The Northstars are looking to improve upon their 6-5 record and 3-0 conference record. Here is the complete Jamboree Schedule:
