Havre, MT – After having their conference opener canceled due to weather last Sunday the Havre Northstars are preparing for Conference home opener this Sunday vs the Lethbridge Lakers.
Ben Mader, head coach of the Northstars, said his team was disappointed about last week but that practices leading into Sunday are going well.
“They’ve been really good. They’ve been focused on a little bit more of the intricacies of the game but a lot focus from the boys and I think they’re a little bummed that their first conference games have to be rescheduled.”
In 2025 the Northstars went 4-1 against the Lakers. First pitch of game one on Sunday May 24, is set for 1p.m.
