Havre, MT – Havre Northstars baseball looks to even up their season record and start 2-0 in conference play this weekend as they battle Medicine Hat Sunday afternoon.
Havre head coach Ben Mader said his team will need to keep a clean field to win the ball games.
“We’re going to have to have a tight field; which they did an amazing job last weekend making plays for their pitchers. They’re going to have to carry that into Med Hat because those guys are not going to go away. They are going to try and put pressure on us and I think if we keep a clean field we’ll be just fine.”
Last season the Northstars went 2-3 against the Knights of Medicine Hat.
